The Black Panther Party was a revolutionary organization active from 1966 to 1982. Founded in Oakland CA, it became an international organization with chapters all over the world. Perceived as a threat by the U.S. government, the Panthers were targetted by the FBI under a program known as COINTELPRO.

This page is a byproduct of a one-night-only popup exhibit on my photography collection as part of the Belltown Art Walk, March 10, 2017. It’s under construction while I scramble to put the show up.
