2012 holiday calendar

when are the various holidays in 2012?

I confess that I love moveable feasts. There’s something about holidays whose dates aren’t fixed that appeals to me. Things like Lunar New Year (Losar or Tet), Easter, and one of my all time favorite holidays, Thanksgiving.

And speaking of Thanksgiving, in the U.S. it’s 4th Thursday in November which isn’t always the last Thursday in the month. 2012 is such a year because there are 5 Thursdays in November.

It’s easy to remember when the 4th of July is and my birthday (12/12). The rest are up to you.
